Disclaimer
Ozed One Ultra is a digital service platform operated by Ozed One Ltd. It is not a licensed fintech, bank, or financial services operator. All financial transactions, virtual account issuance, cross-border payments, and remittance services are facilitated exclusively through APIs and partnerships with accredited, licensed fintech operators, banks, and payment service providers regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and relevant international financial authorities. Ozed One Ultra acts solely as a digital intermediary and technology service provider.
1. Overview & Nature of Service
Ozed One Ultra ("Ultra", "the Platform") is a digital service product operated by Ozed One, a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ozed One Ultra provides technology-enabled access to financial services including virtual account creation, cross-border payments, remittances, tax computation, and statement of account management.
Ozed One and its Ozed One Ultra product are NOT a licensed bank, microfinance institution, or financial services operator under the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act, the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFIA), or any equivalent international financial regulatory framework.
Ozed One Ultra operates exclusively as a digital technology intermediary. All financial services, payment processing, virtual account issuance, cross-border remittances, and related regulated financial activities are performed entirely by our third-party API partners — all of whom are independently licensed, accredited, and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), and/or equivalent regulatory authorities in their respective jurisdictions.
By creating an account and using Ozed One Ultra, you acknowledge and accept the nature of this platform and the role of regulated third-party providers in delivering financial services.
2. Third-Party Financial Services & API Partners
Ozed One Ultra integrates with accredited, licensed fintech operators, banks, and payment service providers (collectively "API Partners") to deliver financial functionality on this platform. These partners include but are not limited to:
- Licensed digital banking and fintech operators
- Accredited cross-border remittance and foreign exchange service providers
- Regulated virtual account issuance infrastructure providers
- Licensed payment service providers (PSPs) regulated by the CBN
All transactions, fund movements, account creation, and settlement activities conducted through Ozed One Ultra are executed by and within the infrastructure of these licensed API Partners. Ozed One Ltd does not hold, move, or process any user funds directly.
Ozed One assumes no liability for the performance, availability, errors, or regulatory compliance of its API Partners. Users acknowledge that by using Ozed One Ultra, they are also subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant licensed third-party partner facilitating each specific service.
We recommend all users review the terms of service of applicable third-party partners prior to initiating financial transactions. Ozed One Ultra will clearly disclose which partner is facilitating each service category within the platform interface where required by law or regulation.
3. Cross-Border Payments & Remittances
Cross-border payment and international remittance services available through Ozed One Ultra are provided exclusively through regulated third-party remittance operators, foreign exchange service providers, and international payment service providers that hold valid licences from relevant financial regulatory authorities.
These services are subject to:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
- Transaction limits as set by applicable regulatory authorities
- Foreign exchange regulations of the Central Bank of Nigeria and destination country regulators
- International financial compliance frameworks including FATF guidelines
Ozed One Ultra reserves the right to suspend, delay, or decline any cross-border transaction suspected of violating applicable AML, KYC, or sanctions compliance requirements. Users are required to provide accurate identity and source-of-funds information as requested.
Ozed One does not guarantee exchange rates, transaction timelines, or delivery of funds; these are determined solely by the licensed third-party service providers facilitating each transaction.
4. Virtual Account Creation
Virtual account numbers issued through Ozed One Ultra are created and maintained by licensed banking and fintech partners operating under valid CBN licences or equivalent regulatory approvals. These virtual accounts are NOT bank accounts owned or held by Ozed One Ltd.
Users understand that:
- Virtual accounts are issued in the name of the user but maintained on the infrastructure of licensed third-party partners
- Deposits into virtual accounts are held by the issuing licensed partner institution, not by Ozed One
- Ozed One has no access to or control over funds held within virtual accounts
- Virtual account services may be subject to transaction limits, spending caps, and regulatory restrictions as determined by the issuing licensed partner
In the event of any dispute, loss of funds, failed transactions, or service interruption related to virtual accounts, the primary responsible party is the licensed third-party issuing institution. Ozed One Ultra will provide reasonable support in facilitating dispute resolution with the relevant partner.
5. Tax Audit, Computation & Financial Records
The tax audit, computation, and statement of account features within Ozed One Ultra are provided as digital advisory and record-keeping tools only. They are NOT a substitute for professional tax advisory services, certified audit engagements, or legally certified financial statements.
Tax computation outputs generated by Ozed One Ultra are based on data provided by the user and publicly available tax schedules, regulations, and rates published by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and relevant State Internal Revenue Services (SIRS). Ozed One makes no warranty that these outputs are complete, legally valid, or suitable for submission to tax authorities without independent professional review.
Users are strongly advised to engage qualified accountants, tax professionals, or legal advisors before using any Ozed One Ultra tax computations for regulatory filings, legal proceedings, or official submissions. Ozed One shall not be liable for any tax penalties, assessments, or legal consequences arising from reliance on platform-generated tax outputs.
6. Identity Verification (KYC) & Data Privacy
Ozed One Ultra collects identity information, including Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number (NIN), and other personal data, as required by regulatory frameworks applicable to digital service platforms and their licensed API partners.
This information is processed in accordance with:
- The Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023
- CBN KYC/AML guidelines for digital financial services
- The terms of applicable licensed third-party API partners
Ozed One will not sell, share, or disclose personal data to unaffiliated third parties except as required to fulfill the services requested by the user or as mandated by applicable law or regulatory authority.
BVN verification is conducted through licensed API partners authorised to access NIBSS BVN lookup infrastructure. Ozed One does not store raw BVN data beyond what is necessary for verification and regulatory compliance purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ozed One and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of funds arising from the actions, errors, or insolvency of licensed third-party API partners
- System outages, transaction failures, or delays caused by third-party payment infrastructure
- Regulatory actions taken by financial authorities against third-party partners that impact service availability
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of Ozed One Ultra
- Tax penalties, audit findings, or legal consequences arising from use of the tax computation features
Users engage with Ozed One Ultra and its third-party API partners at their own risk and discretion. We strongly recommend users transact only amounts they are comfortable with and maintain independent records of all financial activity.
8. Regulatory Compliance & Governing Law
These Terms and the use of Ozed One Ultra are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
Ozed One Ultra's cross-border and international services are additionally subject to the laws and regulations of the relevant destination countries, including international AML/CFT standards, FATF recommendations, and local payment regulations.
Ozed One reserves the right to suspend or terminate services to users in jurisdictions where the provision of such digital services may conflict with local laws or regulatory requirements.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Ozed One Ultra following notification of updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
